| Biathlon PEI is open to all levels of athletes from beginners through experienced and all levels of participation goals. Our recreational program offers monthly training sessions in the off-season and weekly sessions once there is adequate snow on the ground. Our competitive program involves more frequent training sessions throughout the year.
Biathlon PEI teams are entered in local, regional, national and continental level races.
We are currently preparing a team for the 2011 Canada Games in Nova Scotia. Athletes selected for the PEI Canada Games Team are invited to training camps (both on-snow and dry land) and are targeted by coaches for specific attention. Canada Games members are chosen on the basis of their performances at Provincial and National competitions. Canada Games members must also show potential for improvement.
